Kia and DUB partnering on K900 and Stinger GT builds for SEMA

SEMA starts this week, so keep looking for all kinds of custom cars, trucks and SUVs. SEMA was ruled for years by aftermarket companies – it is not for nothing called the Specialty Equipment Marketing Association, but in recent years the car manufacturers themselves have used the show as an opportunity to exhibit a variety of fun, but often showy adapted vehicles to set. This year Kia brings a few cars that seem to fall somewhere in the middle of the spectrum.

All we have now are a few teaser images of a bright blue Kia K900 and a silver-colored over red and black Kia Stinger GT. Kia has worked with DUB, one of the most famous aftermarket stores in the industry, to design the vehicles. The K900 has been updated with shiny black accents, 24-inch wheels, a blue and black interior, air suspension and a "specially developed multimedia installation". We will be disappointed if that does not mean TV's in the head restraints. The Stinger GT has 22-inch wheels, a modified intake and exhaust, air suspension and a renewed interior.

We will have no other details until the cars are fully unveiled at Kia's press conference, but stay informed this week for more SEMA coverage from Kia and other car manufacturers and suppliers.
