Kia shows four off-road ready Tellurides at SEMA along with others

Kia has dropped the curtain on the Forte GT today at SEMA, but the Korean automaker also has a full plate of modified cars that he will show there as well. Four heavily modified Telluride SUVs, a Stinger, Forte and K900 all make their appearance in Las Vegas.

All Tellurides look slightly different, but share the same suspension modifications. It starts with long-distance shocks from KW Motorsport with spaced reservoirs and three-way adjustable damping. Then Kia made new heavy-duty lower control arms, widened the track by three inches and added King hydraulic hump stops. Why did Kia add such a great adjustment of the suspension? Well, the idea is to have these Tellurides jump all week on a demonstration track outside the SEMA show. We think that is a good reason. All Tellurides also have black Rhino wheels with 32-inch Milestar Patagonia terrain tires. A straight pipe outlet is also fitted.

This Telluride has a snorkel for deep water and a large LED light bar on the roof. Kia says that it was designed for the conquest of the Rubicon course. The orange paint ensures that you do not miss this large SUV on the rocks.

Kia says it was more focused on the groundbreaking kind of off-road driving. It has flat military style green and black paint and rotopaks for gasoline on the rear quarter panels.

Painted to go up in the desert, this Telluride is perhaps our favorite sight of the bunch. The front LEDs fit nicely into the paint, giving this tough off-roader a sense of style.

This is the only Telluride of the bunch without a massive brush guard. Instead, he gets a bumper on the front to go with his skid plate. The black paint also gives it a much more subdued appearance.

2019 DUB Kia Stinger GT

DUB certainly went all-in on this Stinger, with massive 22-inch wheels and a wide bodykit. There is an adapted exhaust and inlet for extra noise, and the engine compartment gets a complete dressing kit. Air suspended suspension brings it all closer to the ground, while the brushed steel and carbon fiber windings provide an even flash appearance. A fully customized red / black leather and suede interior make the Stinger unique inside.

The K900 looks more like a DUB-like car to adjust, and this example is not missing at the glamor department. The bright blue exterior is beautiful for a luxury car. Wild 24-inch wheels sit in the wheel wells of the air-suspension sedan. The interior is in blue and black upholstery in combination with a remote-controlled LED headlining.

We are more enthusiastic about the Kia Forte GT that came out just today, but this green Forte is also an eye-catcher. A rear axle exhaust from Borla and cold air intake probably make the CVT-equipped Forte quite busy, but Eibach springs and high-po tires should improve handling. A lot of aero bits around give it a lower appearance. Kia says that all parts that can be seen in this car will also be available to buy for the new Forte.

You've probably seen Kia Forte's drive car in commercials from Kia, but it will also be at SEMA. For those who wonder, it is sporty with a modified Stinger GT engine that is facing the other way. It is rear-wheel drive and sends 375 hp to a sequential six-speed transmission.
