2019 Honda Passport, Ridgeline get modified for off-road use

Overland Expo is about to start and car manufacturers are rolling out versions of their crossovers and trucks that have been transformed into landings and expedition vehicles. Honda is taking part in the promotion with the 2019 Honda Passport and 2019 Honda Ridgeline. It cooperated with Honda aftermarket company Jsport and the results are some tough looking camping machines.

Both trucks are equipped in the same way, with a leveling set that adds 1.5 inch ground clearance, aftermarket 18-inch wheels shod in sturdy all terrain tires, and Jsport & # 39; s own skid plates, so in case you try something too high. The passport gets a little extra love in the form of a new Jsport spare wheel holder at the back and some off-road lighting from Baja Designs.

Some usability and camping accessories were also added. Every truck gets Jsport side steps and roof racks, with the Ridgeline & # 39; s supplemented with a cover. At the top is a predatory nest tent. The Ridgeline even gets a Honda generator for feeding everything from a laptop to a hob.

Everything shown on the Ridgeline is currently available from Jsport and other manufacturers. Many of those parts are shared with the passport, but items such as the spare wheel holder are not yet known.
