Touring Superleggera Arese RH95 is a beautiful coach-built Ferrari

See the Touring Superleggera Arese RH95. It’s the latest creation from the folks at Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera, and it’s the company’s first time building a mid-engine.

The Arese RH95 starts life as a Ferrari 488 Pista, but the design is far from what originally came from Maranello. The name RH95 refers to Touring’s 95 years of coachbuilding for the company. The Disco Volante and its design philosophy were translated into a mid-engined body style – Touring calls it the “AERO range”.

“Arese RH95 reflects the stylistic features of the entire AERO line in its many distinctive elements, and the cinematic openings of the exterior panels add theatricality to a car that is moving art and design,” said Louis de Fabribeckers, director of the Touring Style Center.

Touring calls its rear clamshell the ‘pinnacle’ of the car. A dorsal shovel proudly rises to blow air into the engine. You won’t find lines or trunk openings ruining the smooth lines. More air intakes can be seen on the shoulders of the car, and from an aerial perspective, the car mirrors the styling of the Alfa 33 Stradale.

The scissor doors are exotic works of art and show a beautiful interior. You can basically have anything you want on the inside, but the reveal car is gorgeous in caramel and cocoa colors throughout. Touring brings its own accents here, just like with the exterior. Look closely, and it’s hard to find anything that looks like transferred from the 488 donor. Touring is also using its first foray into mid-engined cars to delve deeper into the use of carbon fiber, as it is widely used for the car body panels.

The 488 Pista’s powertrain is what you get here, so that means the twin-turbo V8 still delivers 710 horsepower, which is controlled via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Acceleration from 0-62mph is done in 3.0 seconds, and top speed is 211mph.

There is no price on it because if you have to ask, you certainly can’t afford it. Touring says there is a price available to customers who request it. If you order one of the 18 cars that Touring claims, the car will be delivered six months after Touring receives the donor car. All parts manufactured by Touring come with a two-year / no-mileage warranty, and any replacement parts you need come with a lifetime warranty.
